Jennifer Leahy, RN, MSN, CRRN, QRC, CLNC®

 

 

Jennifer Leahy has an extensive background with more than a decade of experience managing a wide range of medical cases, specifically personal injury and workers' compensation. She has had exposure to a number of different clinical specialty areas throughout her career, most notably Medical/Surgical, Neurology, ICU, Oncology, Telemetry, Orthopedics, Trauma, and Palliative Care/Hospice.

 

Jennifer has worked with the best and the brightest medical experts in the healthcare field. Her knowledge of hospital procedures and the complexities of serious and catastrophic cases has prepared her to ask the appropriate questions about the sequence of events in a case, and to gauge the level of care that a patient has received.

 

Prior to founding Leahy Legal Nursing Consulting, Jennifer's career in healthcare started when she became a registered nurse in 1994. Her commitment to patient care is evident by the fact that she still practices clinically as a casual registered nurse to stay fresh and current with standards of healthcare. Jennifer also is a registered Qualified Rehabilitation Consultant with the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry, and has certifications in Legal Nurse Consulting and Rehabilitation Nursing. She is affiliated with professional organizations including the Minnesota Nurses Association, the National Alliance of Certified Legal Nurse Consultants, and the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants.
